Volunteers

Get the good stuff first by volunteering to help during the sale. Volunteers get to shop during our “preview party” before the sale opens to the general public.

We need people to help with the following:

Before the Sale:

  • Event set-up
  • Registration 
  • Inspection

During the Sale:

  • Cashiers 
  • Floor coverage/customer service
  • Put-backs
  • Greeters
  • Receipt verification

After the Sale:

  • Sorting
  • Item pick-up
  • Tear down/clean up

Volunteer Shifts

We have both 4 and 8 hour shift options available. 8 hour shifts can be done all at once, or can be split into 2-4 hour shifts. Please be aware that only (1) preview party wristband will be given if you work a 4-hour shift, 2 wristbands will be given to those working an 8-hour shift.  View the volunteer schedule here.

  • Drop-Off and Sorting Shifts- work 4 hours during one of these shifts and gain the earliest entrance to the “Preview Party”. You’ll receive (2) entrance wristbands to the party, Thursday, August 26, at 4:00PM.
  • 8-hour shift: work 8 hours during the sale and gain early entrance to the “Preview Party”. You’ll receive (2) entrance wristbands to the party, Thursday, August 26th, at 5:00PM.
  • 4-hour shift: work 4 hours during the sale and get into the “Preview Party” a half an hour before consigners and our new parents/grandparents. (1) entrance wristband will be given for the party, Thursday, August 26th, at 6:00PM. 
  • Share-A-Shift: Can’t dedicate 8 hours to the sale, but want first dibs on the good stuff? Consider sharing a shift with a friend or a family member. Work your shift, and then let them work their shift sometime during the sale. Receive a preview party wristband for each of you to get into the party Thursday, August 26th, at 6:00PM. 
  • Donate Your Mate: Ladies, I am looking for some “Super Men” to help during set-up and tear down. Donate your man to work a set-up or tear down 4-hour shift and receive 2 entrance wristbands to the "Preview Party", Thursday, August 26th, at 4:00PM.
  • Give Some Grub: For those people who want early entrance to the “Preview Party”, but can’t dedicate working a 4-hour shift, consider bringing food (pizza, subs, snacks, drinks) for the volunteers. Receive (1) preview party wristband for you to get into the party Thursday, August 26th, at 6:00PM.

Please make sure that if you sign up for a shift you honor your commitment. We depend on our volunteers for the success of the sale! Upon arrival for your shift, you will be asked to sign in and then given a duty. If you sign up for a shift and don’t show up or find a replacement, we reserve the right to not allow you to volunteer during another sale, therefore forfeiting your chance of earlier shopping opportunities except entrance as a consigner.

We can not provide childcare during your volunteer shift. Please do not bring your children with you, as you will not be able to supervise them properly.
